Why is this awesome?
This short-focused program is a platform where students acquire aesthetic sensitivity and skills. The program involves collaborative learning that will run for five days. There will be a culminating program where students will perform in public. See for yourself how performing with other musicians can be a lot more fun. Sign up now!
What will the course teach?
At the end of the course, the students will learn the following from Teacher Jonathan and his team of music instrument specialists:
Roles of the various instruments in a band.
Rudiments of music in the band context.
Band dynamics and interplay.
Perform different styles/grooves.
Gain a well  rounded skill set in playing with a band.
Understand the functions of stage equipment and available techology for music practice/performance.
Acquire the necessary skills to perform in different music ensembles and situations.
Camaraderie and friendship.
Sounds of Freedom 2015 was launched at the Salvatorre Lounge in Makati. Students of Teacher Jonathan performed on stage to the delight of friends and parents. The lounge has some of the most sought-after guitars considered collector’s items displayed on the walls. State-of-the-art equipment and band gear were on the stage. It was quite an experience for all of us. Aside from providing a platform for students to experience the full range of learning music through public performance, we thought that it would be good for students to experience what it is like to play using professional music equipment. Cheers to twelve years of awesome guitar education!
SM Pasig invited us again to mount With Strings Attached! Last November 22, 2014 the Saint Paul Gift Program celebrated the Christmas season. The guitar students of Teacher Jonathan were accompanied by a chorale. We encourage young people to spend their holidays productively by engaging in leisure activities. Learn to play guitar and perform a song for loved ones be it Christmas, special occasions, or just because.

In th
e summer of 2014, Animaguitara successfully implemented a course we designed especially for Saint Scholastica’s School of Music — the Contemporary Music Ensemble. The first run was attended by these energetic young ladies. We are honored to have maintained years of friendship with the conservatory, where Teacher Jonathan studied for his Bachelor of Music.
