Music is a conversation.

Music education must be able to integrate that fine mix of theory, technique, and real world application. It is akin to learning a language and engaging in conversations. Experience the full spectrum of learning music by learning with a group.

At Animaguitara, we make sure that these “conversations” are something to look forward to. We started many years ago with classical, electric, acoustic, and bass guitar lessons. We have now evolved as we bring our audiences several arts programming initiatives for small to big groups of participants. Through the years, we have collaborated with specialists in other instruments. Animaguitara is allied with a tightly-knit group of performers, educators, and media production creatives. Our affiliates are committed to the enrichment of young people and the young at heart through music.

We would love to hear from you! We do not release our syllabus on the Internet but if you would like to know more about group learning activities and our solid curriculum, send  us a message at 0917-5543288 (GLOBE). You may also  fill up the form below.

Gain helpful tips on techniques and concepts in performance. Know when to use those flashy ones and with good taste too. The band must have a minimum of three (3) members with at least a guitarist, bassist, and drummer (having a member who can sing is a plus). This integrated program is valid for teenagers and adults, both aspiring professional performers and music enthusiasts who want to experience playing with a group, playing in public, and playing for a sense of fulfillment.

3. Guitar Duo/Trio

The guitar is a very versatile instrument. When a guitarist makes music with other guitarists, they create complex rhythms and rich textures. This program is valid for all levels. Each session is two (2) hours. The number of sessions depend on the goals and capabilities of the students that will be determined upon the initial assessment and conversation with Animaguitara. In essence, this program is designed to enable learners to play with their peers or families. This program is valid for all ages.

4. Ensemble Dynamics

The Ensemble Dynamics class is an open-format module valid for participants who have intermediate knowledge in their instruments. The class consists of a mix of instruments, where young people and the young at heart will learn basic music theory, styles and techniques, performance concepts, and apply these in context. We at Animaguitara created an Ensemble Dynamics Program to primarily encourage young people and the young at heart to get out of their shell and interact with their peers through music. Participants will learn to appreciate values such as cooperation, team work, leadership, and service. Each participant will surely develop their confidence to speak out through music, listen, and negotiate. There are separate modules for teens and adults with a minimum of four (4) slots per class. Through this program, participants will learn to engage in productive conversations by making music with their peers. Click here for more information.

5. Master Class for Guitar

This is a module for advanced students who want to refine their skills and test their limits. It is also an opportunity to discover bad (and harmful) playing habits. Fine tune your licks, discover advanced approaches for the instrument and performance concepts, compare techniques used by the guitar greats and find out which works for you. There are a minimum of four (4) slots for each class. There are separate modules for various music styles, customized according to the proficiency level of the participants.
