We may not be a big corporation with multiple branches in malls around the city. Yet we at Animaguitara are the first to redefine the notion of recreation.

We provide workshops for different ages and across different stakeholder profiles. The workshops may be in the form of enrichment programs for residential communities, leisure programs to keep employees happy, or after-school activities for institutions.  Our vision is also translated in our teaching philosophy whenever we provide workshops for people from all walks of life and all ages.

Music appreciation workshops are exploratory. Learn how to play guitar. Learn how to listen and what to listen for in music. Create your own music. Perform with a group. Or simply sit back and appreciate.

Our music workshops include an integrated mix of appreciation lectures, ear-training exercises, analysis, and hands-on activities. We use the most updated and age-appropriate learning materials. We make music on top-of-the-line music gear coupled with the right amount of fun. We are proud of Animaguitara’s dynamic teaching methods.

Participants will surely love music without the trauma of having a rigid yet boring curriculum.  We at Animaguitara believe that quality music enrichment should be an enjoyable experience as well. Animaguitara Music Workshops may consist of any or a combination of two or more of the following modules:

• Music and Culture

A series of introductory modules on music all around the world. Participants will learn to appreciate the music traditions that make cultures unique as if they are being transported to several countries.

• Listen and Learn

A series of modules where participants will learn basic music theory, rudiments, music styles, and performance concepts. They will also discover composers, virtuosos, the greatest works of all time, and other gems in the world of music.

• Music Jam Series

A series of modules where participants will explore different musical instruments through hands-on activities. They will also learn to collaborate with each other.

• Guitar Woodshed Series

A series of modules for advanced guitar performers where participants will learn techniques in improvisation and develop a greater sense of musicianship. More details about the Guitar Woodshed Series can be found here.

Music Workshops are only valid for a minimum of  six (6) participants and more. Guest instructors are trained educators with a wealth of experience from the most prestigious schools in Metro Manila. The duration of the workshop will depend on the modules selected by the participants. Each run of the workshop will culminate in a performance or multi-media production equivalent to a recital.
